Hello, I am Haratake, a dual farmer. I am Haratake, a dual-income farmer.
Today I would like to talk about my relationship with farming.
At my previous job, I was transferred from one place to another every few years.
Even after my children started elementary school, I continued to be transferred, and I could not imagine that at some point
my mother, my children, myself (working alone), and my parents’ house would be separated.
Therefore, I changed job to a company that did not require transfers, and at the same time made a U-turn to Hiroshima when my child was five years old.
I still think that this decision was the right one.

Assuming that we would not have to move far away from home, I decided to start farming!
I thought, “Let’s start farming! We started with a citizen’s farm for which we paid a fixed fee.
I rented a 50 square meter plot of land, which is a bit large for an amateur.
It was equipped with all the tools and water I needed, and the fact that there was farming instruction and regular events at
was also appealing to me.
And so my farming life began. It was September 2022.
