Hello. I am Haratake, a part-time farmer.
Although I have decided on the land I will be cultivating, it is currently Golden Week.
According to theory, soil preparation should begin around February or March to prepare for the summer harvest.
Starting in May is simply too late.
Books say that “finding farmland takes several months,” but in my case, it was decided in just a few days.
Of course, it depends on the situation, doesn’t it?

The farmland was covered in grass, but the landowner used a tractor to clear it to some extent.
Thanks to that, I should be able to create the ridges by hand from here on out.
So, for now, it’s all about creating ridges. It’s a test of physical strength.
Since it’s May, the morning temperatures are below 20 degrees, so there’s no issue with creating the ridges.
I’d like to finish creating the ridges before summer arrives.
